I started this project to help build a community for parents facing the many challenges of feeding young children. As a practitioner, I know that how we learn to eat and what we like to eat, can have a big impact on overall and long-term health. As a mother, I know that eating healthy, flavorful food is not a given for young children. TWK aims to embrace feeding young children as a new approach to family meals, but not neglecting the art of food and cooking itself.

This newsletter will cover topics such as Introducing New Foods & New Flavors, Infant Microbiome, The Problem with the Term Picky Eater, Cooking Tips, Inspired Recipes & much more. TWK aims to connect voices and ideas around what it means (and how) to feed a family.

TWK is interested in simple, healthy meals, made with good ingredients, that can feel elevated and inspired any day of the week. Most importantly, encouraging enjoyment in food and food choices, and inspiring families to cook. I truly believe investing in the family meal, is investing in a healthier future.
